In this autobiography, Brenda Amanda Mwaya shares her love of America, her personal struggles, and the often nail-biting events, such as of her family's encounter with ICE. It is an odyssey sometimes filled with fear and anxiety, as well as intense happiness as it takes many turns from deportation orders to her family member's DACA experience, to their eventual citizenship 20 years later.Brenda Amanda Mwaya is a native of Malawi and a Permanent Legal Resident of the United States of America.
