Ron learned to read at age three and was writing stories at four. His first muse was murdered when he was five. He sold his first stories at eight. He spent time as a sports writer and at a radical student newspaper. He has written more than a dozen books and had them published by a major New York publisher, some small independent presses, and has self-published and e-published some on his own; his books have been distributed all over the world and made thousands of dollars. But he has never had a New York Times bestseller and never won a Pulitzer Prize. So, after more than seventy years of writing, he is largely unknown, like many, many other unknown writers who have had varying degrees of success, while also working at a day job.
