Also Plays is a memoir of Karl Lindholm's forty years at Middlebury College as a master jack-of-all-trades -- a dean in student affairs, a member of the faculty, a husband, father, friend, colleague, townsman. It is a "view from the ground," presented in over 100 short vignettes, anecdotes: stories that range from loving and even sentimental portraits of former classmates and colleagues to very funny experiences and very sad ones too. Along the way, it tells the story, a story, of Middlebury College in the past half-century.
