Book updated February 2021. In Alabama, the Alabama Auction Law has rules and regulations that set forth by the ASBA. All auctioneer candidates seeking a license have to contact the licensing board and register to take the closed book auctioneer examination, which requires a passing score of 73%. The Auctioneer Apprentice examination, on the other hand, requires a passing score of 71% only. In any case, candidates are allotted 2 hours to complete the exam.We give you knowledge information relevant to the exam specification. To be able to succeed in the real exam, you'll need to apply your earned knowledge to the question scenarios. Many of the exam questions are written to be less straight forward. They tend to be framed within the context of short scenarios. An advice: Do NOT rely on a single source for exam preparation.
