A young, independent student finds herself madly in love with her best friend's boyfriend, Nick, that she had no other choice than to betray her friend to be with the guy that she believed was her Mr. Right. Only after all the trouble of being unloyal and hurting her friend, she breaks up with him after the painful discovery that he was cheating with her classmate, which was not entirely true. Failing to fathom what happened, she grew stubborn and allowed pride to consume her, so she refused to listen to Nick, who was trying to get her to forgive him. Pride began to reign in their lives such that all they did was to hurt each other. They both found themselves in the battle of breaking each other's hearts all because they would not swallow their pride and get back together, and they tried as hard but never ceased to stop loving each other.
