I am happy to share with you After the ABC's? Snuffly Puppy Poems!
A puppy, "last of the litter", inspired this book. "Would we please take him?" He was most wonderful! As a 2ⁿᵈ grade teacher, I had looked for years to find a book that would make practicing letter combinations, like "th" in "then" a pleasure. Picturing Snuffly's adventures and describing them in the rhythm and rhyme became my pleasure.
Now Snuffly continues to explore his world in wonder, from bratwurst to gentle Ginger. His discoveries are catalogued daily into "story- verses" where letter combinations are woven, one per verse, per page.
The book addresses the main groups of letter combinations taught in 2ⁿᵈ grade.
