Adriel thought he was just an ordinary kid growing up within the enclosed city of Telchar. Everything changed when he learned he was the prince of the deposed royal family and plans were afoot to help him and his supporters secretly escape from their Robonic overlords.

After a virus shuts down the Robonic system, chaos descends. Adriel and his friends make a break for it. Adriel and his companions make their way to the royal family, at the palace. It is no easy feat with the Robonics in hot pursuit and roaming bands of rebels hunting anyone connected to the royal family, so they split up. Polly and the twins go one way, Adriel another.

As they navigate the unfamiliar world outside the enclosed cities, searching for people they can trust, will Adriel and the others find his family? How will they adjust to life without the Robonic system? And what makes something truly worth fighting for?
