With several movies and 300 commercials to his credit, he has been nominated by Drama Desk for a Tony Award for his performance in Nuts. He has performed in numerous stage plays both on- and off-Broadway, and toured around the world performing in Porgy & Bess and Sound of Music. In 1989, Hansford decided to move to Los Angeles, California, and has been featured in numerous TV episodes, commercials and movies.
