Aprašymas

Maxwell is one drink away from ending it all when he finds a rat statue while at work. The statue purges him of his addiction, and he finally feels free. But the cure is no gift. The statue animates, commanding him to save a child, and he does, but was it a good thing he did?

When Teisha, the rat's former keeper, reclaims the statue from Maxwell, she tells him not all is what it appears to be. He doesn't know what she means until Jerry, a very old man from Newfoundland, arrives at his door with a snake.

Maxwell is drawn into a hidden world where mythical creatures influence human events and history, and he must choose between closing his eyes to this world or helping Jerry stop the rat from creating a world of blood and chaos.

Blending cosmic horror with raw human frailty, A War Unseen is a chilling descent into addiction, sacrifice, and the terrifying forces that shape our reality
