Being interned in a mental hospital for 5 months, attempting suicide twice, lost his beloved wife of 23 years, rare contact with his beloved children, lost his flourishing business, his car and all his money and turned a healthy position with the bank to insurmountable debt. However despite this, it is intrinsically a very funny book and deeply poetic book. The intention of writing it is to demonstrate to those that do not have it, what a view from the inside looks like and to make the reader laugh in the face of adversity.
