A thorn in someone's side is usually a source of continual annoyance or trouble. This is a story about Katie being bullied. Today, one out of every four students report being bullied during the school year. 65% of the students that are bullied do not report it. And even more disturbing, over 75% of the students say that they have seen bullying in their school - but did not report it. Katie searches for solutions through peers, teachers, her parents and faith. Sometimes the answers to difficult situations are right in front of you. THE KATIE SERIES The Katie series is geared towards young readers. The messages are always about faith, hope and love. It doesn't always seem that way, but they can conquer all. The stories are about the life and times of Katie Moseley, a high school student. She has a younger sister Camille and a best friend Theresa. Katie's teacher's, friends, and family play an active role in the series. Each book includes a series of discussion questions geared towards students, teachers and parents. I hope that these books help open the discussion on topics that are plaguing our children today.
