In this selection of nine readings, reflections, and prayers, Nick Fawcett offers brief thoughts and prayers on Matthew's version of the Lord's Prayer and on the teaching of Jesus that preceded it. Drawn from his book Daily Lent Reflections, we begin where Jesus began, focusing on the need to make time and space for God in personal devotion. From here we move to a recognition that prayer is not about imposing our wishes on God but about seeking his will and guidance.
