In 2008, Marcia Wilson began simultaneously writing a number of novels and short stories relating the stories of the Scotland Yard Inspectors who worked closely with Sherlock Holmes. Over the next few years, she completed a remarkably prodigious amount of work, revealing previously unknown and fascinating details about the lives of Inspectors Lestrade, Gregson, Bradstreet, and Hopkins, and their vastly interesting families and backgrounds. This vast interrelated narrative appeared online, and a few pieces - just the very beginning of the much bigger picture - were published as books. Then . . . the online stories were taken down, and none of the additionally planned books in the series were published to share the rest of the story . . . until now.
Finally, nine of the major novels in the "Sherlock Holmes and the Scotland Yarders" series by Marcia Wilson are being published in handsome uniform editions - the first of a planned series which will include other volumes in the future.
