It's commonly said that a journey begins with a single step. But what motivates that step?

And so collected herein are 52 wishes for wayfarers before they take that first step, one for every bone of the feet. Some might be called blessings, others prayers and positive affirmations for those who would travel by foot. There is even a trio of ancient foot talismans from the Far East.
