"26 High Street" is a readers' theatre play of mystery and intrigue, culminating in the moment that Abbeline passes the torch to the intrepid newsman. Chapters include the author's reflections on readers' theatre presentation, and the subject of Jack the Ripper as a literary metaphor, not just a documentary figure - plus a brief primer of the Ripper's factual history.
