For the past twenty years, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has been actively working to protect our planet and promote environmental causes. Convinced that this cause is also social, economic and, above all, philosophical, the Foundation is striving to bring about a broader transformation in our relationship with the natural world.

This book offers a thoughtful and structured account of this commitment, looking back over two decades of initiatives and partnerships. Every action undertaken by the Foundation provides a concrete response to environmental challenges, whilst remaining true to its core belief: we must understand in order to act. Rejecting oversimplification, the book highlights the connections and dynamics at play, demonstrating how different disciplines intersect.
