¡Mikey!: Double Trouble in Casa Grande (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | knygos.lt

Aprašymas

Two laugh-out-loud graphic novel adventures in one book!
Meet Mikey DeVida, an enterprising ten-year-old with big ideas, a bigger imagination, and a knack for turning everyday problems into unforgettable adventures. Set in the small desert town of Casa Grande, Arizona, this action-packed graphic novel includes two complete stories starring Mikey and his crew of loyal friends: Rascal, Wally, Dar-Rell, and Magaly.
Story One: Saving Uncle Ruben
Casa Grande is in the middle of a serious drought, and when Mikey learns that his dad has lost his job because of it, he refuses to sit still. With a little creativity (and a lot of hoses), Mikey hatches a plan to collect air-conditioner condensation from around the neighborhood.
But will teamwork, ingenuity, and determination be enough to save his dad's job?
Story Two: Mikey's Close Shave
When Mikey opens a not-exactly-authorized barbershop in Wally's basement, business is booming, especially when Magaly shows up with her dad. Everything is going great... until Wally's grumpy, kid-hating father, Mr. Growley, comes home early.
Can Mikey and his friends clean up the chaos, fix a broken stained-glass project, and escape before they're caught?
