Aprašymas

The Liberia Inland Mission developed the Mann Language scripts and other indigenous language scripts aimed at making the ethnic groups in Liberia own the word of God. Thus, the Bible was translated into several local languages in the 1950s.
The New Testament version of the Bible has been translated and widely spread as compared to the Old Testament. Beyond that, much has not been done to produce other Christian literature in the indigenous languages as in the English language, for example.

The Book of Esther beautifully narrates the amazing story of the remnant Jews in exile during the Babylonia captivity. It explains how Esther, a Jewish girl, became a queen in a foreign land. Through Queen Esther, God worked behind the scenes to deliver his people from the wicked hands of Haman, who had planned to annihilate the Jewish people in Persia. God made his evil plans to turn against him when he was hanged by the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. Esther demonstrates her faithfulness by fasting and praying and entering the King's court, knowing that it meant death for her. God is faithful!

The book is translated into the Mann Language to help the readers comprehend that God does not condone wickedness and sins. He promotes whom He wants to promote, and He demotes whom He intends to demote (Daniel 2:21).
