Phillip and Anna Holman, New Haven's beloved socialites and couple of the year had longed to have children. Anna became despondent over time and was encouraged to go to Frankfurt, Germany for the latest in fertility treatments. During a leisurely walk in a wooded area near their vacation home in Germany, a strange woman appeared on the trail and thrusted a baby in her arms. The strange woman insisted that since the parents were in danger and being hunted down, their wish was for their baby daughter to live. Phillip and Anna were warned to get out of those woods because it wasn't safe. The strange woman said the parents loved their baby but they were afraid she too would be killed. The woman said, they would probably be looking for her also but she had promised the parents that she would make sure no harm came to the baby. Phillip and Anna suddenly became parents to a child with no name as they hurried out of those woods for their own safety. Thus begins the harrowing tale of Jennifer Holman.
