Aprašymas
The Unofficial Gospel of Thomas is a post-modern reinterpretation of the lost gospel of Thomas. Two thousand years ago, there was man known as Jesus who attracted the attention of an empire and now has the attention of an entire world. During the early stages of christianity following the life of Jesus, there were many books written and passed around by the new converts of the faith. Among those early books was a collection of teachings and sayings of the teacher Jesus Christ. Today, thanks to the discovery of the Nag Hammadi Library in Egypt in 1945, the gospel of Thomas made its way back into public view and the Unofficial Gospel of Thomas shines an even more current light on the gnostic gospel. Using a contemporary language, the gospel of Thomas is rewritten.
