For P.I. Jackson Douglas, working three cases at once is nothing compared to dealing with his three clients:

Relying heavily on a female detective who owes him one and a female journalist with a knack for getting at the facts—and getting under his skin—Jackson puts in long hours in an effort to create three happy endings. What effect will failure have on Ryan, Stephanie, and Marissa? And what toll will success take on him?
