Other notable works by this author include: "The Romantic Story of the Puritan Father" (1912), "The Ancient Guildhall (1930), and "A Deathless Story of The Birkenhead and its Heroes" (1906). Read & Co. History is republishing this classic work now complete with introductory poems by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and John Greenleaf Whittier.
