DNA did not suddenly appear at the fall. In fact, DNA is the fabric of creation. Every living thing within creation has a genetic structure. Nothing that was made was made apart from God, and since DNA exists, God created DNA. If the human genome was degraded at the fall, it was upgraded through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. We have been restored to bear the full image and likeness of God as new creations in Christ.Redemption is not about going to heaven one day; in fact, the believer is already seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Redemption is about the restoration of the created realm through the Lamb of God, who shed His blood to create it and shed His blood to redeem it. As believers, we have been born of incorruptible seed that is the Word of God to look like and reveal God in and to the creation.
