After the initial diagnosis, the focus is wholly on cancer. Then the treatment stops and some survivors struggle to move on, feeling like they've been left in limbo; stuck in a no man's land between who they used to be before the diagnosis and who they are today. This is how Saskia felt after she was given the "all clear": she was a Cancer Misfit, recovered physically, but spiritually and emotionally still healing.
