The controversial cancellation of the Avro Arrow continues to fire debate in the 21st century. In 1959, when the program was killed, all completed preproduction models, and those awaiting assembly, were destroyed. So were all tooling and technical information used to create this extraordinary achievement of Canadian miltiary aviation.
