The 12-Type Enneagram is completely original, and it reveals 12 planetary essence types. We all have every one of the type energies, but they exist in lesser or greater concentrations. Only one, though, is our essence type (not personality type). Unlike the 9-Type Enneagram, which concentrates on personality, the 12-Type Enneagram focuses on planetary essence types. There are 6 main types and 6 hybrid types, all of which are linked to a planet: Mercury, Saturn, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Lunar.
