This volume contains a selection of twenty-four peer-reviewed papers from the 39th annual Linguistic Symposium on Romance Languages (LSRL) held at the University of Arizona in 2009. Contributions cover a wide variety of topics in the areas of phonology, phonetics, syntax, morphology, and diachronic Romance linguistics, with an emphasis on language variation and change.
