This book contains poetry attributed to Omar Khayyaam (1048-1131), a popular Iranian poet whose philosophies provoke strong reactions from those who agree or disagree with his ideas. Khayyaamism is a particular worldview that challenges established religious beliefs and practices that are contrary to reason.
