Aprašymas
John Clare was a 19th century English poet. He was raised on a farm. He came to be known for his representations of the English countryside. Clare tried many professions. He was a pot-boy in a public house, a gardener, and enlisted in the militia. Clare was constantly torn between literary London and his often illiterate neighbours; between the need to write poetry and the need for money to feed and clothe his children. This work contains an extensive biography, an appendix of partial poetry and a large number of the author's poems.
