On her final mission, Captain Victoria Heartness takes command of the Stellar Flash, one of the latest human flash ships in the Interdimensional Coalition. The ship flashes to a binary star system which exists in the same place as the Solar System, but on frequency 1 - a standard mission to investigate the possibilities of First Contact. What Heartness soon discovers is this binary system on this particular frequency has caused some strange effects on her crew.
With Torus having disappeared, and one of the aliens on the planet able to see her even though she should have been invisible, Heartness soon discovers the binary star system's electromagnetic field is causing a lot more problems than they were prepared for.
And now her photosynthetic pilot and long time friend Leafy has locked her in her cabin, and taken command of the Stellar Flash.
Can she escape and save her ship and crew before Leafy destroys the world?
