Aprašymas
It is time for “A New Kind of Pentecostalism” to develop unique solutions to the crises we face. Everything in our world is now interlinked. Each culture is becoming ever more bound up with the destinies of all of the other world’s cultures. Our lifestyle choices on this side of the globe can have a crucial effect on conditions on the other side ecologically, economically, socially or spiritually. Given this fact, we as Pentecostals have to realize that we are a part of a bigger Christian family, a family with two thousand years of history and tradition. This fact alone creates space for dialogue between the people from other denominations or groups who would help us realize that Christianity is more than the interpretation of dogma, or reflection on the Holy Spirit and the scriptures. It is Christ’s passion that makes us one, united into a single world community, regardless of denominational background. We are on the verge of something radically new. God is calling His Church to enter into maturity, to demonstrate institutional flexibility, and reveal divine love, to live the credo of tolerance and care for the world. It is my hope that this flame of passion will start burning in you as you read the pages of this book.
