Mother Letters is art in the form of stories, letters written from many hearts to one mother and to you. Words that have been heard and understood in the soul for generations are now articulated in letters that capture the difficult and joyful work of parenting.

The motherhood journey is shared here with taps of a keyboard and snaps of a camera in hopes that mothers will find joy and comfort and feel strengthened and empowered.

Mother Letters includes words from over fifty women from around the world in all seasons of motherhood and everyday images from more than twenty-five photographers. It’s vision and poetry, art and life, the mess and glory of all mothers.
