Lexi Taylor grew up knowing people considered her “hot.” With a string of beauty pageants behind her, and a twenty-year contract as the face of an international cosmetics line, she’s made a career out of it. But Lexi’s hit the big five-o and suddenly she’s hotter than ever. Only now, it’s because of the night sweats and those killer hot flashes.

Her husband’s run off with a stripper, her daughter thinks she’s nuts, and twice she’s arrested for acts committed while in the throes of menopausal madness. Lexi’s pleading the menopause version of the Twinkie defense on how her once perfect life turned to crap, “It wasn’t me—it was the hormones.”

After her second incarceration, a family intervention convinces Lexi she needs some professional help, and she checks herself into Sunnyvale Sanitarium Home for the Mostly Menopausal, for a ninety-day stay. Things continue to heat up when Lexi falls for her handsome psychotherapist, who despite his best intentions begins to share the attraction to his famous patient. With the help of an army of doctors, and one very therapeutic nun, Lexi manages to reclaim her sanity, her self-respect, her sex-drive, and learn the true purpose of her colorful life.
