YA science fantasy, 'Hall of the Golden Crocodiles - The Aten Sequence 2' finds Aten ever more desperate to find enough gold to make the fuel he needs to leave the Earth behind him forever.
Getting into the treasure vaults beneath Karnak Temple is his plan, but now that the mighty High Priest Neferhotep and Pharaoh's Medjay police are suspicious of him, his chances of penetrating the shadowy passages and halls beneath the great temple have diminshed considerably.
So Aten hatches a plan, always a bad idea with him, to send the two boys Luke and Neferptah back to the royal palace to get the information he needs to get at that gold.
But as usual Aten's plans backfire, and the two boys find themselves on a dangerous quest underneath the temple, trying to keep track of their friend the Princess Merytamen, who may just hold the key to what Aten is looking for.
