She flees where the Veil will not find her, the town of Innocent, Minnesota. There she meets and falls hard for a human, Beau Collins. Beau Collins isn't like most humans, he can't catch fire and being a fireman is the perfect job for him. When he meets Jamie Waters it's instant attraction.
