The Engineering Mathematics promotes the application of mathematics to physical problems particularly in the area of engineering. It emphasizes the intrinsic unity, through mathematics, of the fundamental problems of applied and engineering science. Engineering Mathematics is a key area of all engineering degree courses and the changes to the A-level mathematics syllabus mean that many departments and institutions are developing strategies to support their students with their mathematics. This book is the first of its kind in engineering mathematics. The theory, important concepts, formulas and results involved in the topics concerned are summarised at the beginning of each chapter.
