A mother in her early fifties, Clover knows she no longer turns heads, and she's missed only when dinner isn't on the table on time. She feels like she may as well be invisible. But when she wakes up one morning to discover she really is invisible, she panics. But her husband and son don't even notice! Clover's friend, Marjorie, is quick to notice though. At least she knows she hasn't gone off the deep end, though she's emotionally crushed that neither her husband nor her children ever truly look at her. How long has she been invisible to her family? There are others like Clover -- women of a certain age who seem to have disappeared. Clover decides to use her invisibility to get to know her family and her town better and to lead the way in helping invisible women to become appreciated again.
