Aprašymas
The Falkland Islands, with a population of just over 2,500 people is small, but the local government can one minute be discussing the location of public toilets and the next discussing who should be off to the UN to speak to the world about the Argentine claim. Andrew Gurr has high lighted the ups and downs of the Falkland Islands Government, as well as describing the life of the Falkland Islands and brings out the colour of local characters, who help make the Falklands a warm place to live. My only moan, about an otherwise enjoyable book, was that no real dirt was dished on the in government fighting, but then that's not what the Falklands are all about. Essential reading if you are planning to visit the Falklands or if you live there.
